IV Therapy

WHAT IS IV THERAPY?

IV therapy is the latest trend in general health and preventative medicine.

“IV” stands for intravenous; in other words, the delivery method for fluids and medication is through the veins. A liquid that contains vitamins, minerals, and/or medication is administered via an IV drip or injection, moving the therapy quickly through your bloodstream.

IV therapy can provide multiple health benefits such as preventing illness, treating minor conditions, improving skin texture, adjusting skin tone, and more.

WHAT CAN IV THERAPY BE USED FOR?

General health
Hangover relief
Immune system support
Cold and flu relief
Migraine and headache relief
Skin texture improvement

IS IV THERAPY RIGHT FOR ME?

IV therapy is an easy and convenient treatment to improve and maintain good health. The right balance of vitamins & minerals and infusion of fluids can support a healthy immune system, promote healthy skin, keep you hydrated, and improve your energy levels.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS FROM IV THERAPY?

Results will depend on your personal health goals, current lifestyle and diet, and current health status. The expected range is between 1 to 8 treatments. Most people feel refreshed and hydrated right away!

WHAT VITAMINS ARE IN THE IV THERAPY?

At V Line, we combine various amounts of the following ingredients in our signature IV mixtures to address your health goals and needs:

Saline Solution:
This is usually the base ingredient of an IV bag. Made up of water and sodium chloride, it serves as a delivery system for your IV therapy’s other components. Saline also helps hydrate the body.

Glutathione:
A powerful antioxidant that improves your immune system and detoxifies your body by removing free radicals.

Vitamin B Complex:
B Complex is a combination of 8 vitamin B’s: thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine, biotin, folate, and cobalamin. Not only does B Complex take part in converting food into energy, but it also plays a vital role in maintaining the cardiovascular system and neurologic functions. These vitamins also help the body form and maintain tissue, including bones, blood vessels, skin, hair, and nails.

B12:
Vitamin B12 is a nutrient that keeps the body’s nerve and blood cells healthy and helps make DNA, the genetic material in all cells. Vitamin B12 also prevents a type of anemia called megaloblastic anemia that makes people tired and weak.

Vitamin C:
This is a powerful antioxidant that protects the body from environmental stressors. It is vital for a healthy immune system and used to combat sickness and onsetting illness. Vitamin C also contributes to collagen production for an overall youthful look.

Calcium:
Your IV therapy may include calcium, a mineral commonly tied to strong bones and healthy teeth that also plays a large role in overall health. While we consume calcium in our diet through foods like dairy and green, leafy vegetables, IV therapy can increase calcium intake.

Magnesium:
Magnesium, another essential mineral, plays a role in healthy metabolic function. It has many benefits, including reducing inflammation, combating cramps in pregnant women, and migraine prevention.
